Whether you carry a knife for personal defense or just want to know how to deal with a knife-armed attacker, this class is for you.

At this event we will examine, using resisting opponents, the context of common knife attack situations. You will understand the challenge, and we will provide solutions for use with your own knife, pistol, or other defensive tool.

BEGINNERS AND EXPERIENCED WELCOME.

Whether it's your first look at a full-speed knife attack, or you're just getting a re-innoculation, this class will provide valuable feedback on where your skills and gear are now and where they can improve. Students will learn to access and deploy their defensive tools while under attack in a variety of challenging situations. They will learn the most effective way to defensively employ a knife while staying within Texas law. We will also discuss basic considerations for defensive knife selection and carry.

We will provide training knives, dummy pistols, and other safety gear. We will be performing live-blade cutting at this event, you should bring your own knife to test if you carry one.
